Task 2Proposal for Ident:
I was in a team and we had to make a creative ident for Park Hall media.
Objectives:
My team’s objective was to make a creative ident which reflects the Park Hall media department.
Vision
- What you hope to achieve
We hope to achieve that our ident would be suitable to reflect the Park Hall media department and we hoped that we would be happy with what we had made.
- How you hope to achieve it
We hope to make a successful creative ident which we think is suitable to reflex Park Hall media and we are happy with the ident and the way we making it.
Where we are now:
We are at the editing stage so we all need to edit our video, complete it and then make a survey to our audience who have watched our ident and question them if it’s bad or good etc. then complete an evaluation
What’s next?
Each of us need to edit our own version of the ident and hopefully it will be a successful ident for Park Hall media department.
Difficulties?
We will have some difficulties but we will overcome them with teamwork but a real struggle will be editing our video as we need more practice and if so, we will make our ident a lot better.

How and why the information was relevant? | I feel the information from www.Wikipedia.org was useful and also relevant because we wanted to know why idents were made and we found out and it helped us get a better understanding on idents also www.theidentgallery.com was relevant because we wanted to find out what was so special about professional idents and we wanted to look at professional idents so it would help us to make a professional one. |
How you will use the information to create your final product? | We made our ident for Park Hall media and the information from www.Wikipedia.org showed us we need a symbolic sign in our ident so we showed letters spelling out media in our ident for symbolic reasons also the information from www.theidentgallery.com helped us to make a nearby professional ident. |

Where we are now:
We are currently at the filming stage of our project, I have made all the characters, Neale made the letters and Jordan is taking control of the filming. W used play doe to make both the characters and the letters as it is an easy material to manipulate and form into the shapes of whatever we may need. Our initial plan for the ident is for each of the characters to bring in a letter in their own specific way. For the background of the ident we are just going to keep it easy and simple and use the green screen. We are planning on using the stop motion animation technique to create our ident, as it is nice and simple and we can prove the skills that we have learnt. Jordan will be the one taking the pictures of the ident. Jordan is also the best.
What’s next:
The next step in producing our ident is the editing stage, this will be a group task as we find it easier to make decisions when we are huddled together.
Difficulties:
A difficulty we faced was we made two of the letters green and because we used a green screen when we tried to put a background in the green letters disappeared.
